Technology & Compatability

Note: If all the jargon below is Greek to you, just know that it basically means that we will develop the site to conform with all of today's design and technology standards.

The pages will be compatible on Netscape Navigator 6.0 and Internet Explore 4.0 and up (this combination constitutes 98% of the web browsers out there). 800x600 is to be considered the minimal resolution that the interface must conform to. The site will be a 'fixed width' site so that it is properly formatted and looks good on all web browsers. The site may use DHTML, JavaScript, Php and other compatible scripting or programming languages. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) will be used to format all text (to ensure easy formatting and maintenance across the entire site). Secure socket layer (SSL) encryption will be used for all confidential information pertaining to eCommerce, if applicable (You must supply the SSL certificate. We can get this for you at a highly reduced price (about $50/year) through one of our partners). All code will be properly documented and efficiently written. All images will be GIF or JPG format and will be optimized for the web. The web site will NOT use frames so as to achieve higher search engine rankings and to provide for external-to-internal page direct linking. PHP (programming language) and MySQL (database system) will be used for any web programming that is required.
